What To do When You Don’t Have Time For Social Media

As a business owner, you wear many different hats & your to-do list is often ten miles long. You won’t always have as much time to dedicate to your social media marketing as you’d like & that’s OKAY!

Life, business, & priorities look different for everyone in different seasons. So don't beat yourself up if you feel you don't have enough time to post on scoial media as much as you'd like currently.

The single best thing you can do for you & your marketing right now? Quit aiming for perfection.

Instead, use that energy to look at what time you do have & take action.

That’s it. It might sound too simple to be true- but trust me it WORKS.

Get rid of the idea that you need to post every single day. Set a realistic & sustainable posting schedule for the season you’re in. If you can only commit to posting once or twice a week- do that. Your goal is to post consistently- regardless of how many times a week that is.

Get rid of the idea that your posts need to be perfectly crafted. Set aside a little bit of time you can commit to each week to sit down, focus, & power through creating your posts. Set a timer for each post (I personally do 15 minutes) & schedule whatever you have done in that time for the upcoming week. Set a timer, make a post, & post whatever’s done when time’s up. Seriously- I'm not joking. Set the timer. & then post.

Because when you don’t have time- done is better than perfect!
